It's October?!

Well, I havent been very good abour keeping up with my blog :( Sorry y'all. I have been quite bust lately! As you all know, it's football season-- which means we eat, sleep, and breathe FOOTBALL! Hunter is happily coaching JV this year (YAY!) and had games on Thursday nights and then we have Varsity games on Friday nights. The coaches work on Saturdays and Sundays and don't get home until about 8pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Plus, since I work in retail, my schedule is just as crazy! Needless to say, we are busy busy!!

This year is a little bittersweet for me because it's Dad's first football season in the stands- yep, first EVER! He's never ever been anywhere but on the sidelines coaching or playing in his entire life. Crazy, huh? It took me a while to get used to the idea of him not coaching anymore since that's all I've ever known. Growing up we would be at a football game every single Friday night during football season and I was just raised to know and love football. So, now maybe y'all can see why I'm a bit over the top about it ;)  Anyway, as much as I wish he was still coaching, I am very happy to actually be able to sit with him at Hunt's games and "talk football". Plus now that he isn't so busy we have lots of time to do things as a family and he's lovin it- which is all that matters!

I am also so very thankful that God put Hunter in my life because he and I share a mutual love for football (and baseball) and I look forward to keeping it in the family and being the best coaches wife that I can be! I can't wait to see where this life takes us.


Oh, and in case you were wondering, the Northwest Texans are having a great season so far! We are 4-1 overall and tied with Southlake (*gag*) for first in our district!!  Go Texans!

I really really love Fall and what it brings... Cooler weather (kinda), football, postseason baseball (which we will not get into today- I'm still a little emotional about my Rangers!) and best of all... IT'S GETTING CLOSER TO CHRISTMAS!! I L-O-V-E Christmas! ANDDD the months leading up to Christmas mean.... CRAFT SHOWS!! And awesome CANTON weekends!! On that note... our crazy hectic life could be due to the fact that these two things are coming up...?? Hmm.. maybe I'll be doing more that just shopping this season ;)

I DID IT!!

I am so excited! For over a week now I have been trying to figure out this blogging stuff... (yes, I know I'm a little behind). Of course, I couldn't just have a regular, plain blog... I had to have a cute one which only made things MORE DIFFICULT! But, as you can see... I did it! Whoohoooo

 

Now... as far as what I want to blog about- I have no idea. I feel like I have plenty of things to talk about and ideas pouring out of my head so maybe this will be a good place to put it all out there :)

I'll blog about all that mushy stuff another day, it's time for bed. I am getting up early tomorrow (and by early I mean 9ish) to start working on some projects! Hopefully they will be "blog-worthy" and you can all get a peek at what I've been up to.
